Monsieur de Chanel Chronosphere Clock
An interesting interpretation of the ancient legend of the three whales on which the Earth stands. The clock has the shape of a glass sphere about 15 cm in diameter. Inside you can see a mechanism with a 7-day power reserve. Hours and minutes are read on two drums in the upper part. The glass sphere is held on its backs by 3 bronze figures of lions. The model is released in 5 copies.
Chanel L’Esprit du Lion
Gabrielle Chanel was born on August 19, 1883 under the sign of Leo. For the superstitious Chanel, the lion became a talisman that accompanied her everywhere, from buttons on jackets and clasps on handbags, to sculptures in Chanel’s Paris apartment on rue Cambon. A clock from the collection L’Esprit du Lion reproduces one of these sculptures on a reduced scale.
The golden lion stands on a crystal substrate and holds the clock with its paw. Under the glass dome you can see the dial, decorated with a star pattern and inlaid with diamonds.
Patek Philippe. Dome Collection
The clock depicts the Carolinian parrot that disappeared by the beginning of the twentieth century. Birds sitting on the branches of trees are made in the technique of cloisonné enamel. The contours of birds, branches, leaves and fruits are outlined with the thinnest gold wire with a length of 38.71 m. Colors in miniature are transmitted using 16 different shades. Each fragment of the enamel surface went through 11 firing stages at a temperature of 840 ° C. The dial on the end of the watch combines enamel with a guilloche technique.
MB&F Arachnophobia
The team of authors was inspired by the giant sculpture of Louise Bourgeois “Mama”, traveling around the world. The watch is made in the form of a spider. The time is read on a domed black abdomen. The mechanism repeating the shape of the clock is designed for 8 days of work without winding. The model can be used in three ways: unfold the paws of the spider and put on the table, stretch the legs and fix the clock on the wall or stretch only two of the eight legs and put the spider on the table “in the table” a menacing stance.”
Chanel «Midnight in Vendome»
Another Creation of Chanel, inspired by the interior of the Parisian apartment mademoiselle Coco. An original ring watch from the Première collection, which can be worn or stored in a stand with a gold toad figurine. The ring and figurine are made of yellow gold. The diamond-set dial can be hidden by turning the back. The back side is decorated with an insert of black onyx.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos Classique Phases De Lune
A modern version of the “eternal” Jaeger-LeCoultre watch. Packed in a case of gold-plated brass, the mechanism of the model is arranged in such a way that it “charges” from the slightest temperature fluctuation. A temperature change of 1°C is enough to provide the watch with a power reserve of 2 days. In addition to time in hours and minutes, this version of Atmos shows the phases of the moon.
Emerald Time by Harry Winston
Elegant clock in Art Deco style. The case is made of white gold and has the shape of an emerald. The stand, the perimeter of the case and the dial are decorated with a shimmering aventurine. The dial area is highlighted by two diamond chains. The dial can be rotated and used as a mirror.
Jacob & Co Astronomia Table Clock
Those who are familiar with Astronomia watches know that for 7 years Jacob Arabo embodies in them a kind of miniature models of the universe. A laconic steel case complements the dial with an aventurine substrate. In the center of the dial there is a carousel module that rotates at a speed of 1 revolution every 10 minutes. On each of the four axes of the module is fixed one of the elements of the “universe”: a miniature dial with hands, tourbillon, a tiny copy of the Earth and a piece of a real meteorite mined in the crater of Campo del Cielo (Argentina). Each of the elements rotates in its own rhythm.
Ulysse Nardin SuperCat Concept
Conceptual novelty of 2016 – clock in the form of a catamaran. The case of the watch is made of resin of a special composition. The linear mechanism is stretched over the entire length of the “catamaran” and forms its deck. Hours and minutes are read on two disks that are visible on the side of the case. In the aft part of the case there is a dial with an indication of the time of the second time zone. Catamaran propellers perform the function of winding heads. The right screw is responsible for setting the time, the left – for winding the mechanism with an 8-day power reserve.
Hublot Meca-10 Clock
In 2020, Hublot introduced one of the Big Bang models in the form of table clock. On a scale of 1:4, hublot style looks very impressive. Details of the open mechanism are visible in the palm of your hand. In particular, the gear wheel of the power reserve indicator is clearly visible, suggesting that the mechanism is designed for 10 days of operation without winding. Given the design features, the clock can be fixed on the wall.
