The watch is a perennial calendar chronograph, which means that it has a perpetual calendar function. The watch was manufacture in yellow gold and pink gold. It has an 18k hallmark on the caseback and a brown lizard Patek Philippe strap with gold Patek Philippe buckle. It has a 14mm strap width at the buckle end. The strap is marke with the words “To AIL – Love – BKL – 7-5-96” on the inner side.
The dial of the Patek Philippe Reference 2499/100 features double windows at the 12 o’clock position. The hands are also gold in “Dauphine” style. There is a small discoloration on the dial due to humidity. The watch has a deep hallmark on the side of the case and is in very good condition.
The Patek Philippe Reference 2499/100 has seen in the Southern United States. It is believe to be the only example with a double-signed dial. The watch was purchase for $1,800 USD by its original owner. The watch was later sold to a prominent European Patek collector in the 1990s.
