Competition of young performers started in Sochi
On October 2, the XIV International Competition of Young Artists of Popular Music “New Wave 2015” started in Sochi. This year, the competition, which will last until October 11, is supported by the Mercury Jewelery jewelry brand. Participants and audiences presented new collections of classic jewelry from diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. The Mercury Jewelery jewelry collection is made by Italian designers of white and pink gold 750 sample and is represented by three lines: Classic, Flower and Color.
The main event of the “New Wave” will be the competition of young performers. This year, a competitive program will be represented by 15 finalists from Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine, Croatia, Switzerland. From Russia, Camila Izmailov, Oleg Sidorov and Tatyana Shamanina. Popular musicians – F. Kirkorov, I. Nikolaev, Valery, L. Agutin, L. Vaikule, A. Lorak, A. Varum, D. Kontopulos will take part in the jury. Chairman of the jury – People’s Artist of Russia, producer and composer Igor Krutoy.
The prize fund of the competition this year is 7 million rubles: the owner of the first place will receive 3.5 million rubles, the second – 2.2 million rubles, the third – 1.3 million rubles. Each evening the stars take part in the concert program, including A. Pugacheva, E. Ramazotti, A. Netrebko, S. Shnurov and c. Leningrad, F. Kirkorov, L. Leshchenko, L. Dolina, K. Orbakayte, Valeria, P. Gagarina, D. Bilan, N. Baskov, L. Agutin, R. Tik, A. Varum, N. Queen, I. Busulis, A. Buynov, L. Vaikule, O. Gazmanov, V. Presnyakov, S. Pavliashvili, S. Lazarev, A. Lorak, G. Leps, I. Dubtsova, “Disco Accident”, etc.
