Masterpiece, which means “masterpiece” – this is the highest collection in the assortment of Maurice Lacroix, within which manufactory represents the most interesting and complex mechanisms collected in its own production in Saint-lying. Surely, many remember acrobatic retrogrades (at one time Maurice Lacroix even kept the unlawful title of “king” of this type of complications), tourbillon, chronographs, world time. In 2016, in the framework of the Masterpiece concept, Maurice Lacroix specialists decided to focus on designing a modern skeleton mechanism, in which high technical characteristics are combined with a carefully thought-out dynamic design. A vivid example is a new chronograph caliber, not besurved, and literally “built” in three-dimensional space to show the most spectacular elements of the clock mechanics. Modern industrial style emphasize matte steel bridges and bright colored elements.
The housing of the 45 mm diameter is offered in three versions: made of steel with a silver dial, made of steel with a black PVD coating in combination with a black dial and a luxurious steel body with a silver dial and whole gold target. Much attention is paid to original details. Thus, the carving of the crown resembles a gear wheel, and the side indicator of seconds of “9 hours” is made as a Maurice Lacroix logo. All together is one hundred percent Masterpiece.
