Mark celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2015
Next year, Zenith will celebrate its 150th anniversary: ​​a 22-year-old entrepreneur from Le Lock Georges Favr Jaco opened his watch factory in 1865. The founder of the Zenith manufactory will dedicate his anniversary novelty – Academy Georges Favre-Jacot with a fuse mechanism. The fuze, which is wound a chain, can be seen directly on the dial at the 1: 30 mark, and the chain transmission and drum – at the mark “10:30”. In order for the chain completely wound on the drum, more than 50 hours is required, which is the reserve of the mechanism. The plant itself lasts just a few seconds.
In the lower part of the dial there is an EL Primero 4810 stroke of the power supply indicator with a manual plant with the Force Constante and High Frequency inscriptions, and the counter of the star logo.
The clocks that will be released by a limited series of 150 copies are framed by a housing of pink gold 18 carats. The diameter of the housing is 45 mm, the height is 14.35 mm.
