It was here that in 1881, the founder of Seiko Kintaro Hattori opened his first store, where he sold and repaired the watch.
The drawing on the SEIKO Prospex and Seiko Presage dials resembles the traditional paved Ginza streets, and the blue-green color prevailing in the design of the models repeats the iconic shade of buildings located in the quarter.
The Prospex model, based on the design of the 1959 Seiko Alpinist, is distinguished by the presence of a blue-green second arrow in the shade of Komparu, which received its name in honor of the street, once known as the center of Ginja’s nightlife.
In addition, the clock is equipped with an automatic 6R35 caliber with a 70-hour stroke, and also reliably protected by sapphire glass and water resistance up to 200 meters.
The Presage model largely resembles representatives of the recent Seiko Style 60 collection, but with the addition of an additional 24-hour dial and window in the Nine hours position.
Limited series of 3500 and 4000 copies will go on sale in October at a price of 750 euros (approximately $ 880) and 590 euros ($ 700), respectively.
