Maximilian Busser presents a new watch machine
Maximilian Busser presented a novelty, the work on which took three years: Horological Machine No.6 “Space Pirate” watches with four protected domes from sapphire glass spheres around the edges. In the two spheres, displaying hours and minutes of semicircular indicators with large numbers, and two – aluminum turbines, whose rotation energy generates a rotor. In the central dome there is a single soaring tourbillon. Its feature is the lack of an upper support bridge, as well as the presence of additional cover: the tourbillon protects the retractable hemispherical flap from titanium. It allows its discovery to control the “9 hours” mark.
As a source of inspiration for the creation of the sixth hour car machine, Max Buser calls a spacecraft from the Japanese cartoon series “Capitaine Flam”. However, the watchmaker, of course, went to his fantasy much further than a simple ship with two connected spheres. On the reverse side of the housing, the mechanism of 475 parts with a platinum rotor having a combat ax was opened.
The housing of the watch is made of TI-6AL-4V titanium capable of withstanding the temperature of more than 400 ° C. Case dimensions – 49.5 x 52.3 x 20.4 mm. Model Horological Machine No.6 “Space Pirate” is produced by a limited series of 50 copies. The output of only 100 HM6 mechanisms is scheduled.
