Diamond weighing 76.07 carats in honor of the 70th anniversary of the victory

The stone is produced from the jubilee tube in Yakutia
Alrosa called the anniversary mined from the Yakutian tube in Yakutia weighing 76.07 carats “70 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War”. A transparent with a yellowish tint stone was obtained at the end of February 2015 at the N14 Factory of Akhaalsky Gok. The cost of stone in the form of octahedra at the auction may exceed $ 430,000. In the peripheral part of the crystal there are small inclusions of olivine, in the surface part – a disc-crack, filled with graphite sulfide composition.
“70 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War” became the fourth large diamond extracted from the jubilee tube. So, at the end of September 2013, a large diamond mass of 235.16 carats was produced here.
