Watch Franck Muller Vanguard Gravity Tourbillon
11/08/2015
What can be said about these hours? That they have a rather modest dial. However, who would like to look at the numbers and arrows at all – despite that two-thirds of the outer surface of the body occupies an unprecedentedly huge and incredibly spectacular carriage of a three-axis turbium, from which it is simply impossible to take a look.
Since Frank Muller in 2008 presented a three-axis tourbillon Revolution 3, it is almost forever as the Champions League Cup, drove into Watchland the title “King of Multiple Turbows”. Then when the high Franck Muller mechanic department headed Pierre Michel goal, the manufactory began to issue one by one new records: it is enough to remember the Giga Tourbillon or a 5-second TourBillion Rapide. Now the new significant concept appeared in this row, presented in January at the WPHH salon at Villa Zhto. Turbium, the beauty of which is easy to see without a magnifying glass. With a 5-day stroke stock. And, of course, in the Vanguard collection – the new avant-garde Franck Muller.
The Vanguard line itself was represented in 2014 as a more modern and sports reading of the classic Cintree Curvex case – with dynamic forms and innovative materials, primarily titanium. Thanks to this, the impressive “barrel” Vanguard Gravity 44×53.7×15,1 mm sits on his hand as the albele. But, of course, the main innovation is inside the corps, or rather, the look at both sides through the sapphire glass is fully opened: 21.2 mm on the area of the dial is the window of a three-axis turbiumon, which placed the gas balance of the goal with a diameter of 14 mm. The X-shaped turbium carriage is made of light aluminum, in addition, it has no square profile, but in the form of an ellipse, which also helps to reduce the mass. In addition, a pleasant bonus – aluminum is immune to magnetic effects.
If someone thinks that Turbium boring, it means that he also simply did not see the Vanguard Gravity.
Pierre Michel Goal, main watch master Franck Muller:
“The challenge to place such a large spherical carriage into the curved Cintree Curvex case was very difficult, but as a result, the effect even exceeded expectations. When Franck Muller Vanguard Gravity Tourbillon is put on the arm, the panorama of the tourbillon turns out to be accurately before the eyes of the owner. ”
