An independent CVSTOS clock brand was founded twelve years ago by a young watchmaker and an entrepreneur Sasusun Sirmakis and the famous designer Antonio Terranov. They immediately determined that, although they focus on modern style and high-tech materials, brand products are primarily a classic mechanical watch made in all the rules of this honorary art. That is why the ancient Greek word “Kustos” was chosen for the brand name, meaning “guardian, keeper”, in this case, specifically Time Keeper, the keeper of the time. A clear understanding of how to properly combine the traditional mechanics and modern design, led to a logical result. CVSTOS is the rare from watch brands that can make female mechanics.
Last year, in Basel, the brand debuted with the clock inspired by the most romantic phenomenon of nature – the blooming of Japanese cherry. A pearl dial of an elegant elongated re-belle case decorated Sakura branch. For the beauty of its volumetric, filigree-written enamel colors, nevertheless, you can easily see complications of automatic CVSTOS 551 caliber: “Large date” and the original pointer of the second time zone in the form of a disk rotating directly inside the flower at the “6 o’clock”. The models are presented in the housing of steel or rose gold, also with diamond inlay. This year, the collection was supplemented by versions with sapphires and quaternities, and no less elegant plots with roses and flutter butterflies were added to the colors of Sakura.

Creating a dial for this model, we pushed out from the idea that the girls love not only a beautiful artistic finish, but also an animation. Therefore, we came up with a special complication in the form of a rotating flower, which shows the time of the second belt, but the main thing – gives the CVSTOS Re-Belle Sakura dial sensation of animation. The usual accessory becomes alive, interactive entertainment.
