Pilatusban rises by the coolest railway in the world
Pilatusban Train, climbing in the world’s coolest railway from Lucerne to the top of the famous Mountain Arrays Pilatus, is now painted in the colors of the CARL F. Bucher. The special design of the road includes a drive system with two horizontally rotating gears, which are connected to a gear wheel located in the middle of the canvas. The maximum slope of the road, built at the end of the XIX century, is 48 degrees. The train made his first flight to the top of Pilatus in 1889, a year after the founding of the family-run company Carl F. Bucher in Lucerne.
