MECCA model again uses MiStope
Christophe Claret introduced new hours using Mirascope – for the first time applied in the Aventicum model, creating an illusion that the subject in the center of the dial is ferry in the air. In the hours of Mecca, a miniature copy of Kaaba is played by a miniature copy of Kaaba – Muslim shrine, located in the Mosque (Al-Haram Mosque) in the city of Mecca. A black spinel is installed on “7 hours” as a reminder of a black stone embedded in the south-eastern corner of Kaaba. On “5 hours” you can see a stone of white ceramics – this is a reminder that the black stone Kaaba was originally white. The dial around the window in Miishkop, where a copy of Kaaba is installed, decorated with a engraved ornament, made in oriental style, with a decoration of green and gray varnish.
Kaaba, acting as the center of the world, can be seen, and turning the titanium case. Sapphire disc is decorated with a stylized world map with white dots. Each point symbolizes a Muslim moving around Kaaba at every rotor rotation. The outer circle is decorated with a pink ornament made in oriental style. The pattern is adjacent to the three inscriptions in Arabic: in the position “12 o’clock” it is written: “Masdzhid al-Haraam” (Reserve Mosque or Al-Haram Mosque); The position “4 hours” is written: “Tavaf”, this is the name of the ritual, during which Muslims must bypass Kaaba seven times; The position “8 hours” is written: “Makka Al-Mucarram” (noble mecca). The release of hours is limited to 63 copies.
