Since 2006, the pilots of the “Strey” pilot group synchronize group maneuvers and recognize the exact time by Aviator. At their request, a new limited series of Professional chronographs was developed, which became the same integral part of the MiG-29 fighter cabin, as well as the main dashboard.
Despite the high-tender equipment of modern aircraft, the most important success factor is still the skill and professionalism of the pilot. While the rate is made on the speed of the reaction and the ability to make the right decisions, do not lose their relevance and wrist aviation clock. Provided, of course, that they are made at a high level.
The Swiss brand with Russian roots Aviator has long been cooperating with the pilot group “Strey”, more than once recognized as the best flight detachment in the world. As a result, professional pilots took time to meet professional watch designers and designers to develop a model together, fully adapted for extreme aviation needs. After a long month of design, manufacturing, and finally, a thorough tests in Basel featured a Professional series, limited to 1000 copies, divided between four model variations.
The design, functionality and ergonomics of the clock no longer resembles aircraft sensors – designers carefully studied the dashboard features to improve the convenience and readability of the dial. Inside there is a practical Swiss quartz mechanism. And, of course, the original chronograph buttons arranged perpendicular to the dial appear immediately. Back in 2009, Aviator introduced the first model in the market with front buttons, now the design was upgraded for greater convenience. As it turned out, it is easy to operate with them easily and comfortably not only in the cockpit, but also in a rapid pace of everyday life.
“Aviation played a key role in the history of the development of wristwatches, and therefore we have dedicated the Aviator brand of the history of flight hours, their past, real and future. The new Limited Series of Aviator Professional is inspired by today’s day of professional aviation, harsh requirements that pilots are presented to equipment. Production and mass hours of hours starts only after comprehensive tests ”
