Chinese and German masters can enter AHCI
The Academy of Independent watchmakers AHCI presented two new candidates – Kim Djapri from Germany and Xu Jiabao (Xu Jiabao) from China. Born in Cologne in 1979, Kim was fond of mechanics since childhood, in 2006 he first disassembled the first mechanical clock and met their device. The next step was to study in the hour school Robert Gelow in Furtwangen. After that, Kim began work in Lang & Heyne. The own model of kim is called Bélier – this is a clock with three arrows rotating in the opposite direction. The clock can be performed in a pink or white gold case, as well as platinum. The diameter of the housing is 46.40 mm. The caliber installed in the model was called B-01R, the stroke reserve is 46 hours. The watchmaker plans to limit the release of 11 copies in each of the options of the enclosure.
Xu Jiabao was born in 1941, he is engaged in hours for more than 30 years. Jiabao, in 2015 he received the title of “Master” from the Westerie Association of China, has already represented his creations in Basel in 2010 and 2011. The newest model from Jiabao became a clock with dragon and turtle figures.
